Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic IT Manager to lead and oversee platform and server migration and ongoing infrastructure management. This role is critical to ensuring a seamless transition of on-premise or legacy systems to modern platforms (cloud or hybrid), and for maintaining high-performance, secure, and scalable IT environments. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in infrastructure, cloud migration, systems integration, strong project management skills and maintain strong customer service support.

Requirements

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure, including at least 2 years leading migrations.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Storage solutions (SAN/NAS).
  • Familiarity with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, Terraform).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • High level of English Language skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator, or VMware VCP.
  • Experience with hybrid environments and container platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code practices.

Responsibilities

 Server and Platform Migration
  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of complex server and application migrations (on-prem to cloud, hybrid setups, or cross-platform).
  • Assess current infrastructure and define future-state architecture, selecting suitable platforms (AWS).
  • Minimize system downtime and business disruption by designing and executing robust cutover and rollback plans.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, application owners, and security teams to validate compatibility and readiness.
🛠️ Infrastructure Management
  • Oversee the daily operations and performance of IT servers, systems, and virtual environments (Google, Thingsboard, ERPNext....).
  • Implement monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery solutions to ensure infrastructure resilience.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies, software patching, and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2).
📊 Project Management & Governance
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and status reporting for infrastructure initiatives.
  • Manage internal teams and external vendors/consultants to deliver high-impact projects on time and within budget.
  • Track KPIs for system performance, incident response, and service availability.
🔐 Security & Risk Management
  • Coordinate with InfoSec to ensure server environments are hardened and aligned with organizational security standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies during migrations and upgrades.
  • Monitor for vulnerabilities and manage incident response protocols related to server environments.
📁 Documentation & Process Optimization
  • Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation on infrastructure configurations, procedures, and SLAs.
  • Identify and implement automation or tooling to improve system provisioning, monitoring, and management.
